Job description

About the Role You'll own the end-to-end product for our Part Truckload (PTL) module — covering order booking, shipment tracking, and invoicing. This is a high-transaction-volume, operationally complex surface that sits at the intersection of shipper experience, courier integrations, and finance workflows. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and enterprise customers to sharpen the product and drive measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the roadmap for PTL order creation, booking flows, multi-courier dispatch logic, and real-time tracking
  • Own the invoicing and billing module — including freight charge calculation, reconciliation workflows, and dispute handling
  • Map and improve courier integration touchpoints: booking APIs, webhook-based status updates, AWB generation, and exception handling
  • Conduct regular discovery with shippers, ops teams, and finance users to surface friction and prioritize improvements
  • Write crisp PRDs with clear acceptance criteria; collaborate closely with engineering through sprint cycles
  • Define and track key metrics — booking conversion, tracking accuracy, invoice TAT, dispute rate

Required Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of PM experience, with at least 1–2 years in a SaaS product environment
  • Logistics domain knowledge — demonstrated understanding of courier/3PL operations, PTL/LTL mechanics, or last-mile/mid-mile workflows
  • Courier process familiarity — knows how AWB generation, pickup scheduling, POD flows, and NDR handling work in practice, not just in theory
  • Experience owning or contributing to booking/order management or invoicing product surfaces
  • Comfortable reading API documentation and working with engineering on integration-heavy features (courier APIs, webhooks, status feeds)
  • Strong analytical instincts — can size a problem, define a metric, and tell a coherent story with data
  • Able to write clear, unambiguous product specs independently Good to Have
  • Experience with freight billing, invoice reconciliation, or dispute workflows
  • Exposure to enterprise B2B SaaS with multi-tenant or multi-org complexity
  • Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, Metabase, Jira, or equivalent

Success in this role will mean:

  • Platform adoption scaled across top logistics customers.
  • Reduction in reconciliation and payment cycle times.
  • Improved driver and transporter experience through simplified workflows.
  • 10x growth in processed freight value via automation and embedded finance features.

About the company

Freight Tiger
Engineering movement to power India’s commerce forward.

Freight Tiger does not just manage logistics. We engineer how movement works. We build the digital infrastructure that links enterprises, logistics operators, and fleets. We design how goods, decisions, and capital flow across India. We eliminate the waste that sits between intent and delivery. When movement is engineered well, businesses run better and people get what they need on time. We do it through two ways: 1. Software (TMS + AI) The decision system that links procurement, planning, execution, and freight accounting. It reduces delays, variance, and unplanned cost by making every step inform the next through one shared intelligent decision layer. 2. Marketplace The movement system that connects supply and demand, with transparency and fairness built in. Together: One Connected Engine One connected system of decisions One connected system of physical movement One digital backbone powering commerce One intelligence layer improving predictability And we remove the waste in the system: idle time, empty miles, trapped capital, and decision gaps.
